Soccer Recap: Romeoville Takes a Loss

Romeoville managed to keep up with Plainfield Central until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Spartans lost 4-0 to the Wildcats. Romeoville haven't had much luck with Plainfield Central recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Romeoville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Plainfield Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Romeoville will face off against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Romeoville are facing Horizon Science Academy-Southwest at the right time seeing as Horizon Science Academy-Southwest are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Plainfield Central, they will square off against Oswego East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
