Softball Recap: Lutheran's Run of Nine Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anderson Titans.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Anderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Lutheran will challenge Clarenceville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Anderson, they will face off against Glenn at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
