Soccer Recap: Coventry Takes a Loss

Coventry was the 5-1 winner over Firestone when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets came up short against the Falcons on Saturday, falling 6-3. Owen Eder probably wasn't too happy after the matchup: he scored every single goal for Coventry and still walked away on the losing team.

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Firestone, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coventry will host Norton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coventry are facing Norton at the right time seeing as Norton are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Firestone, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Buchtel at 5:00 p.m.
