Giles County and Tullahoma pushed the score to 15-5 the last time they played Tullahoma, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-5 on April 9th.

Giles County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for Tullahoma, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Giles County will square off against Cornersville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tullahoma, they will challenge Coffee County Central at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
