Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Abington Heights Comets. The Chiefs were not able to make up for their loss to the Comets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-3, 25-21.

Abington Heights can attribute much of their success to Madison Smith, who had ten digs and four aces.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Abington Heights, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Lakeland has already played their next game (against Dallas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Abington Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mid Valley on the 18th.
