Football Game Preview: Clark Chargers vs. Rancho Rams

The Clark Chargers will square off against the Rancho Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Rancho took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clark, who comes in off a win.

Clark is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Spring Valley 38-0 on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

A big part of Clark's win came down to the chemistry between Taedyn Parks and her top target Annika Griffith. Parks threw for 196 yards and four touchdowns while Griffith picked up 117 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing yards Parks has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Reed, who gained 127 total yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Rancho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Coronado 46-0.

Rancho's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Clark, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Clark skirted past Rancho 8-6 in their previous meeting back in January. Does Clark have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rancho turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
