Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Beats Roy for Their Second Straight Win

Clearfield won the last time they faced Roy, and Erin Lowry did her part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons came out on top against the Royals by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Lowry, who had ten digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Clearfield might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Roy scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21.

The win made it two in a row for Clearfield and bumps their season record up to 5-4. As for Roy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clearfield will square off against rival Bonneville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Roy is set to face off against their familiar foe Fremont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
