Basketball Game Preview: Red Level Tigers vs. McKenzie Tigers

Red Level is on a ten-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, McKenzie a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Red Level Tigers will welcome the McKenzie Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Red Level was beaten by Elba 60-9. While losing is never fun, Red Level can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while Elba is ranked 161st).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when McKenzie duked it out withGeorgiana on Tuesday. McKenzie lost 45-20 to Georgiana. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

McKenzie's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Red Level, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.

Things could have been worse for Red Level, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 29-15 loss to McKenzie when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Red Level avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
