Basketball Recap: Stratford Skates Past Stem Preparatory Academy with Ease

Stratford won the last time they faced Stem Preparatory Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Stratford Spartans blew past the Stem Preparatory Academy The Chargers 67-40. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Spartans had established a 23 point advantage.

Stratford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Merrell, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Mitchell Gatewood, who put up ten points.

Stratford's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Stratford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 81-53 defeat against East Nashville Magnet on the 21st.
