Football Recap: Rockdale County Bulldogs vs. Heritage Patriots
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archer, Rockdale County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They breezed by the Heritage Patriots to the tune of 35-0. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.
Jayden Whidbee had a dynamite game for Rockdale County, rushing for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while also catching a touchdown. Those 161 rushing yards gave Whidbee a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Deontae Burtts, who threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
Rockdale County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Rockdale County wouldn't let Heritage keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Brennan Speights was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
