Soccer Recap: East Valley's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

East Valley had taken Othello down for five straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Huskies. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as East Valley came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Othello are ranked 108th).

Having lost for the first time this season, East Valley fell to 6-1. As for Othello, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Valley will head out to square off against Toppenish at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Othello, they will venture away from home to take on Selah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Selah's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
