Cheverus hasn't had much luck against Biddeford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Stags will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hailey Lamontagne was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cheverus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive matches.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Biddeford and Scarborough, and Biddeford kept the tradition alive. The Tigers never let the Red Storm get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday.
Not much got past Madi Roy, who gave up just six hits to keep Scarborough off the board.
On the hitting side, Jaylah Trottier was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Small, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Cheverus pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Biddeford, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cheverus hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .451. However, it's not like Biddeford struggles in that department as they've averaged .414. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
