Baseball Recap: NELA Christian Homeschool Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, NELA Christian Homeschool was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 6-2 to the Acadiana Christian Lions. The Flame were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

NELA Christian Homeschool saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen McDonald, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

NELA Christian Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Acadiana Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

NELA Christian Homeschool has already played their next match, a 13-10 defeat against Good Samaritan HomeSchool on the 26th. As for Acadiana Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-7 victory against Christian Home Educators Fellowship on the 26th.
