Soccer Game Preview: Hart vs. Orchard View

The Hart Pirates will head out on the road to challenge the Orchard View Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hart fell victim to Shelby and their airtight defense on Monday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Hart fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Shelby since Monday.

Meanwhile, Orchard View kept a clean sheet against Muskegon on Monday. They put the hurt on the Big Reds with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Orchard View.

Orchard View's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Hart, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season.

Hart beat Orchard View 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
