Basketball Game Preview: Lowell Red Devils vs. Columbia City Eagles

Lowell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 45-34 win over Hanover Central.

Lowell found their leader in sophomore Brooke Dawson, who posted 14 points. Dawson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Bre Kidd, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, Columbia City had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They blew past the Falcons 63-40. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Columbia City's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Lowell, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
