Soccer Game Preview: Laurens vs. Fountain Inn

Laurens hasn't had much luck against Fountain Inn recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Laurens is taking a road trip to take on Fountain Inn at 5:30 p.m. Laurens has given up an average of 6.8 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Laurens managed to slip by Westside the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Laurens came up short against Westside on Thursday, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Laurens couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaylie Howard, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Fountain Inn was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenville H. Fountain Inn haven't had much luck with Greenville H recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fountain Inn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Laurens, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Laurens suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Fountain Inn when the teams last played on March 10th. Can Laurens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
