Baseball Recap: West Ridge Takes a Loss

West Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones.

West Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Elizabethton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, West Ridge will challenge Sullivan East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Ridge is facing Sullivan East at the right time seeing as Sullivan East is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Elizabethton has already played their next contest (against David Crockett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
