Basketball Recap: Rivendell Academy Takes a Loss

Rivendell Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a hard 61-42 fall against the Springfield Cosmos. Rivendell Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Springfield apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Rivendell Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Springfield, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

While Rivendell Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
