Volleyball Recap: Sanger West Beats Exeter for Their Third Straight Victory

Sanger West waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Exeter Monarchs.

Sanger West was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Ariel Vang was the offensive standout of the game as she had 26 assists and five digs. Those 26 assists gave her a new career-high.

Sanger West was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Sanger West's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Exeter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Sanger West will head out to square off against Dinuba at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Exeter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Tulare Western on the 21st.
