Softball Recap: Boone Comes Up Short

Boone and Jupiter squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Boone had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Warriors. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Boone got a good showing from Charltotte Tellez, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Boone saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aracelys Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Jupiter, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jupiter, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Centennial on the 14th.
