Coronado put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Mullen Mustangs as Coronado made off with a 3-0 victory.

Coronado never let Mullen on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-13.

Gavin Mason paced Coronado's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mason got some help from Paolo Piuma and his 31 assists. Jackson Amerine controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Coronado pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mullen, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Coronado has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rampart on the 18th. As for Mullen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Forge Christian on the 25th.
