Jackson Boykin's Big Game Leads South Choctaw Academy over Patrician Academy
South Choctaw Academy picked up their eighth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Jackson Boykin. Nobody could stop Boykin as he rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
South Choctaw Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Boykin and South Choctaw Academy will host Morgan Academy on Friday.

While Cason Sexton delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Southern Academy. Despite the loss, Sexton was still balling out as he rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown.

Southern Academy came up short on Friday despite Drew Rogers delivering his best game to date. Rogers threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Rogers has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 158.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.78 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 13.89 rushing yards.
