Basketball Recap: St. Mary Central Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Mary Central Catholic lost against Perkins back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers were dealt an 81-43 defeat at the hands of the Perkins Pirates. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Mary Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Perkins, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary Central Catholic will finish 2024 at home by hosting Lakota at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perkins, they will welcome Willard at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Perkins knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Willard likes a good challenge.
