Soccer Recap: Riverside Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Riverside can now relate to. They fell just short of the Baker County Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Baker County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-3 record this season.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Baker County has already played their next game (against Bishop Kenny), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
