Basketball Recap: Ethan Edwards and Landon Jacobs Secure Win for Frankenmuth

Frankenmuth won the last time they faced Swartz Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Frankenmuth Eagles managed a 51-46 win over the Swartz Creek Dragons. The victory was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Frankenmuth was led to victory by Landon Jacobs and Ethan Edwards. Jacobs posted 14 points and three steals, while Edwards went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Those seven boards gave Edwards a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Labissoniere, who had seven points.

Frankenmuth's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Swartz Creek, they moved to 3-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Frankenmuth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-39 victory against Bridgeport on the 13th. As for Swartz Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-61 win against Kearsley on the 13th.
