Wilcox won the last time they faced Fremont and things went their way on Friday too. The Chargers had just enough and edged out the Firebirds 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chargers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wilcox was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Wilcox's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilcox will take on rival Saratoga at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fremont is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountain View at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
