Burleson has gone a perfect 10-0 against Seguin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Burleson came out on top in a nail-biter against Mansfield Summit on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Elks in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Joshua, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly eight goals.

Seguin's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Burleson, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Burleson beat Seguin by a goal when the teams last played back in February, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burleson since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
