Roosevelt was handed a 25-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Erasmus Hall, sneaking past 15-13. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cougars needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Erasmus Hall is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9. As for Roosevelt, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
