Metrolina Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Hickory Grove Christian Lions 17-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-4 back in March.

Metrolina Christian Academy pushed their record up to 5-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Hickory Grove Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
