Soccer Game Preview: Fort Collins vs. Cherry Creek + Official Tickets

The Fort Collins Lambkins will square off against the Cherry Creek Bruins on Wednesday. Fort Collins is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Fort Collins barely beat Liberty Common the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lambkins blew past the Eagles 9-2 on Thursday. It was an even better day for Jack McGuirk as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Cherry Creek kept a clean sheet against Grandview on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Wolves. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Cherry Creek's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Grandview are ranked 61st).

Cherry Creek's record now sits at 15-0. As for Fort Collins, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.

Fort Collins suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Cherry Creek in their previous meeting back in November of 2019. Can the Lambkins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
