Football Recap: Piedmont Highlanders vs. Hayward Farmers

Piedmont was the 35-14 winner over Hayward when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Highlanders took a blow against the Farmers on Friday, falling 63-7. The contest marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jimmy Lagios threw for 59 yards and one touchdown. Dash Waters Worthen was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Colby Hong rushed for 38 yards.

Hayward was led to victory by Maurice Hall and Jaydyn Irving. Hall rushed for 105 yards and three TDs on only nine carries, while Irving threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.
