Delphi Community dropped their record down to 4-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost  18-2 to the Carroll Cougars. The  contest marked the Oracles' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
 Delphi Community saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sami Leopard, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
As for Carroll, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
On Carroll's side,  Emily Justice was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   seven  hits. Justice has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Olivia Stankard was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.  Ellie Perry also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Delphi Community didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  9-2  loss against Tri-County on the 26th. As for Carroll, they will take on Taylor at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
