Football Recap: Maricopa Rams vs. Tucson High Magnet School Badgers        
        
		
             After flying high against Nogales  last Friday, Maricopa came back down to earth. The Maricopa Rams lost  34-14 to the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the  28-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2023.
 Maricopa wouldn't let Tucson High Magnet School keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Maricopa can thank  Izaac Lopez and  Ruben White for forcing both of them. Lopez also  snagged  an  interception, which is notable because Maricopa is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  one  interception, but 1-2 otherwise.
  Noah Chanez continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tucson High Magnet School, rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 37 receiving yards.
 Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maricopa will welcome Mountain View  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Maricopa is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.3  points per game  this season. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  week and will welcome Flowing Wells at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tucson High Magnet School is facing Flowing Wells at the right time seeing as Flowing Wells is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
