Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lithia Springs). Everything went their way against the Mt. Zion Eagles on Saturday as the Lithia Springs Lions made off with a 45-25 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Lithia Springs' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-14. As for Mt. Zion, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lithia Springs Lions duke it out with the Villa Rica Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Zion, they will be playing at home against Elite Scholars Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt.
