Oldenburg Academy waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lanesville Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Twisters have posted since September 13th.

Oldenburg Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-23, 15-7.

Oldenburg Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Lanesville, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 17-12.

Coincidentally, Oldenburg Academy and Lanesville will both be playing Rising Sun the next time they take the court. The Twisters will head out to face the Shiners at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
