Softball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Chargers vs. Washington Township Minutemen

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northern Burlington, Timber Creek Regional was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Washington Township Minutemen. The high-scoring effort was just what Timber Creek Regional needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Devin Brandley made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Brandley has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings every time she's pitched this season. Brandley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
