Football Recap: La Salle Lightning vs. Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors
La Salle had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it five. They had to suffer through a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Evan Borley threw for 27 yards on five of 13 attempts. On the ground, Kale Gamache rushed for 57 yards.
As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Considering they have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Quinn Carlson was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
As of now, neither La Salle nor Cle Elum-Roslyn have any future games scheduled.
