The timing is sure in Fremont's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Leadership Public Schools Richmond has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fremont took on Oakland on Wednesday. Fremont blew past Oakland 5-2. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 951st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Leadership Public Schools Richmond and Oakland finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Monday.
