Volleyball Recap: Quantico Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Quantico entered their tilt with Tandem Friends on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Badgers. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Badgers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Quantico had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

Leanna Decker paced Quantico's offense, picking up 15 kills. Decker got some help from Kinleigh Farnsworth and her 15 assists. Decker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 12 aces.

Quantico's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Tandem Friends, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Quantico is set to challenge their familiar foe Wakefield School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tandem Friends will face off against rival Wakefield Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
