Basketball Recap: Mark Twain Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmyra, Mark Twain was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Highland Cougars by a score of 51-40. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Mark Twain now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Highland, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Mark Twain has already played their next matchup, a 54-41 loss against Louisiana on the 13th. As for Highland, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Highland Cougars take on the Scotland County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
