Volleyball Recap: Elkhorn North Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Norris

Elkhorn North faced Norris in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolves fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. The Wolves have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Elkhorn North saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Reese Wallraff had 12 digs and two aces.

Norris found their leader in freshman Makinley Ramsey, who had ten digs.

Elkhorn North's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Norris, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Coming up, Elkhorn North will host Bishop Neumann at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Norris, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pius X on the 27th.
