Porter won the last time they faced Donna and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Porter Cowboys came out on top against the Donna Redskins by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Mia Sosa made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Sosa was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Krystal Paredes, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Gabriela Grimaldo was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Porter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Donna only posted a batting average of .200.

Porter's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Donna, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
