Soccer Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. John Paul II on Friday, New Hope came back down to earth. The New Hope Indians came up short against the West Point Warriors on Saturday, falling 10-0. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for West Point, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

New Hope has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Priceville on the 8th. As for West Point, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
