Soccer Game Preview: Randall vs. Andrews

The Randall Raiders will take on the Andrews Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Randall is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Coronado just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 2-0 defeat to the Mustangs. The loss was the Raiders' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Andrews' offense. They lost 3-0 to Canutillo on Saturday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrews now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Randall, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Randall took their win against Andrews when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Randall repeat their success, or does Andrews have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
