Basketball Recap: Lutheran North Takes a Loss

Lutheran North was the 59-28 winner over Duchesne when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Lutheran North Crusaders fell 54-42 to the Duchesne Pioneers on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Pioneers are ranked 103rd).

Lutheran North dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Duchesne, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

When Lutheran North and Duchesne next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Lutheran North will try to stop Burroughs' three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 7th. Meanwhile, Duchesne will square off against St. Dominic and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
