Basketball Recap: Myrtle Point's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Myrtle Point lost against East Linn Christian Academy back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Myrtle Point Bobcats took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles.

Myrtle Point's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3. As for East Linn Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Myrtle Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-26 loss against Central Linn on the 11th. East Linn Christian Academy has also already played their next match, a 36-32 defeat against Bandon on the 11th.
