Preview: Lewistown Indians vs. Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers
Having just played yesterday, the Lewistown Indians will jump right back in to play the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lewistown is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, Lewistown took a serious blow against Peoria Christian, falling 60-25. While losing is never fun, Lewistown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 698th, while Peoria Christian is ranked 251st).
Meanwhile, Greenfield/Northwestern's game on Monday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 38-29 win over Southwestern.
Lewistown has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 16 of their last 17 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.
