The Seminole Warhawks will venture away from home to face off against the Hollins Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seminole is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Seminole is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Palm Harbor University just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 6-5.

JJ Baysinger made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Mack McGinnis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Hollins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Clearwater. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Royals have suffered against the Tornadoes since March 19, 2019.

Riley McDonald was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Hollins' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Seminole came out on top in a nail-biter against Hollins in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seminole since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
