Volleyball Recap: Harbor Creek Huskies vs. General McLane Lancers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren, Harbor Creek was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the General McLane Lancers as the Harbor Creek Huskies made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in September.
Harbor Creek was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harbor Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elise Benim, who had nine digs, seven kills, and three aces. That's the most aces Benim has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Bresee, who had 13 digs and three aces.
Harbor Creek's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for General McLane, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11-1.
Harbor Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against North East at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. General McLane does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
