Volleyball Game Preview: St. Henry Redskins vs. Jefferson Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the St. Henry Redskins and the Jefferson Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in St. Henry's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Jefferson has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, St. Henry got the win against Fort Recovery by a conclusive 3-0.

St. Henry not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fort Recovery between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Jefferson lost 3-0 to Wayne Trace on Monday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wayne Trace scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for St. Henry, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.
